Growing up in the Yarra Valley, Victoria, Australia Jayne was surrounded by nature and its organic patterns, colours and textures which fed her creativity and imagination.

This appreciation coupled with her artistic capabilities led into a Bachelor of Arts in Textile Design at R.M.I.T University. Upon graduation Jayne's dedication to the art of textile design escalated as she gained experience working in textile studios across Melbourne. Jayne's love for travel and adventure led her career to flourish as she traveled to the UK to work at Laura Ashely and then further on to India where she was a designer for one of the worlds most renowned home furnishing manufacturers. After returning to Melbourne she spent over 6 years working as a senior designer/product developer at Warwick Fabrics where she worked on numerous projects from initial concept, all the way through to styling and assisting with end use photography.

Jayne’s design process begins with initial pattern and colour trend research taking inspiration from fashion, travels and her favourite blogs and websites. With this inspiration she then generates original yardage patterns and placements prints, combining hand drawn and painted techniques with computer aided design.

With over a decade of experience in textiles, working with design studios, large retail brands, mills and wholesalers her insight to the industry is comprehensive.
